Jill Scott's new CD

For those that have been waiting, well, she is back! And wonderful as usual. The name of the new CD is called "The REAL Thing" and "The REAL Thing Deluxe".

I am feeling the track that is currently out called "Hatin on me." I am excited about the CD, with a release date of September 25th.

Jill Scott had actually did an interview with Essence a while back and touched on the fact that she is now divorced from her beau of five years.

Shaquille files for divorce

Well, well, well, This is a mess. Shaq files for a divorce from his wife of five years, Shaunie O'Neal.

ESPN states that Shaq filed for divorce Tuesday September 4th, and included in the petition he wants Shaunie to provide a "correct accounting of all money, funds, stocks, bonds, and other securities" that she had access to during their marriage. Shit smells fishy to me. Maybe he is feeling that she has not been handling the money like she should? Dippin here and there? Possibly.

Shaq makes $20 million annually in his contract the the basketball team, The Heat. That does not include endorsements, which equal another several million a year. The couple also has a $32 million dollar home on Star Island (JLo, Gloria Estevan among other celebs live on the island).

If you are making loot, you must ALWAYS keep your eye on the money. Don't just assume because you love someone or they "love" you that they have your best interests at heart. Most of the time they don't. It will be interesting to hear Shaunie's side and get the full story.

Nelly and the pregnant stripper

Why must men be soo stupid??? The rumor mill is flying on this one! Mediatakeout.com is reporting that St. Louis rapper Nelly got an Atlanta stripper named "Precious" knocked up. In the article it states that the stripper is four months along.

One of the strippers' co-workers flapped their gums to Mediatakeout.com that Precious had stopped dancing about two months ago and she told folks she was pregnant by a celebrity. The link to the article will be below.

Mediatakeout.com is NOT known for their honesty. Mediatakeout.com blog is my laugh for the day when viewing the comments and the articles. Do I believe this? Yes and no. If this article had come from a more reputable blog, like Sandra Rose or Rhymes with Snitch, then yes. I am not too keen on Mediatakeout.com and just how reliable their "sources" are. I wonder what Miss Ashanti thinks of this? Being as though she fucks for tracks and her shit has been aired out recently.

My Birthday

Today is the big day for me. I turn 33. I have nothing planned for today, just going to the DMV and getting licensed renewed. Spending time with my old man.

I was supposed to into work tonight (remember, I work third shift), but I am sick with the damn pneumonia. Yuck. It was hurtin to breathe at one point. Feelin better today.

The Irv Gotti Interview

I have listened to this god forsaken interview and I must say it was rather dry. Irv did not say enough for my taste.

Irv did touch on the raid the Feds did at the Murder Inc. studio (who cares). About how folks would not touch him during that time (oh well). Boo hoo! For those who are not familiar with this mess, Irv was investigated for money laundering because the Feds believed that Murder Inc. was laundering money for the drug dealer Supreme Griff Allah. The charges were later dropped.

After all that bullshit, Wendy got to the point about Ashanti. He does admit to sleeping with her and how he made her. Irv mentions loyalty and how Ashanti was not loyal when he was going through that investigation. She actually distanced herself from him during that time. Irv (rather Wendy) did mention that if she makes music, Irv would still get paid. Wendy also made mention that Irv "still has papers" on her.

Ashanti fucked for tracks. This is nothing new. I believe that folks thought it Ashanti and JaRule fuckin around, but now we know the truth. Think about it! Ashanti has zero talent. Of course she would have to drop'em and wrap'em to get in the game. I wonder how Nelly really feels about this.

The Retraction

Palow Da Don issued another statement about the assinine comment he made about being "King of the white girls." Now he is saying that white women are not his only choice when it comes to the dating pool (liar). He was just saying that white and black women were just raised differently (I guess so, having to put up with assholes like Palow) and just don't see submission as weakness. I just have to touch a little on the interview Polow Da Don gave about him being the "King of white women." I know that it has been on just about every damn black gossip blog out there, but I still have to give it my two cents.

Basically, this fuckin idiot sits down for an interview with AllHipHop.com and puts his foot in his mouth. Here is the interview:

Who is Polow Da Don? Just because he made a couple of hot tracks he thinks these white chicks give a fuck about him? Polow, let me break it down for you.

Only white trash bitches wanna get with you at this point. The uppercrust white woman is still out your reach. When you start driving Bentley's and Ferrai's with homes in multiple locations is when you can call yourself "King of the White women."

Weak? You honestly think white girls are weak? You need to check that because they are not. Go ahead and dump one or fuck one of them while they are drunk. Labor Day weekend

Does anyone have anything planned for the Labor Day weekend? I have to work, so I won't have anything planned! That shit sucks.

Monster.Com's information has been hacked into. Just an FYI for those who have posted their resume's on this website. What I read was that over 146,000 folks may have had their information compromised. How awful!

New Music Review

Whew!!! About time I heard some good music!! I was beginning to think that "A Bay Bay" or whatever that bullshit is called is all we had to offer!

Alas!!! Talib Kweli comes and saves the day! Ear Drum is like a breath of fresh air! There is not one track on the CD that I do not like. From track 13 "Hot Thing" which is produced by Will I AM, to track 20 with JT (scuzz bucket Justin Timberlake) on "Nature".

Talib has alot of collaborations on the CD. From Kayne to Norah Jones. I love Talib and he is a very underrated artist. Folks are looking for more mainstream, like TI and so forth, but what you get with Talib is strong lyrics, self pride, and amazing beats. Please go out and support this CD. You will not regret it.

Britney Madness

I know, I know, there are a million other blogs covering this damn mess with Brit Brit and Kevin Federline. But I just had to give my opinion, as if it matters.

CPS (Child Protective Services) have launched an investigation into allegations of child abuse. This does not mean that Brit Brit is mistreating her boys, and I am getting soo tired of reading that. She married a fuckin bum, and he is putting her through all this legal mess at her expense.

Unless she comes to court with a fuckin needle sticking out her arm, Kevin is NOT going to get the kids fulltime!!! No parent is perfect, as clearly we see neither Kevin nor Brit has demostrated responsible parenting.

Kevin has the white folks thinking he is this settled parent and that she is not. Let's not forget this asshole walked on his former pregnant black girlfriend for Brit Brit. You never hear about him filing full custody of the mixed kids he has with Uncle Tom Shar Jackson, do you???? Because her black ass is broke, that is why!!! Kevin is wasting his time as well as Brit's time and I am gonna laugh my ass off when the final hearing comes down that he will NOT get full time custody of those boys.

Kevin needs to focus on finding work and supporting these kids he has, instead of living off of Britney's money.

Where is Faith Evans?????

Where in the world is my girl Faith Evans? I have not heard from her since she dropped the CD "The First Lady" in 2005. I have been a big fan of hers since she first came out in 1995. Just a wee bit disappointed that she doesn't have the same noteriety as Mary J. Blige.

Faith has been quoted saying that her family comes first, and I don't knock that at all, but I am pretty sure the family needs to eat. I don't see Todd doing too much. Oh, I forgot he is a "music producer." It seems that in between records, she disappears.

She had a baby recently, and that may contribute this time to her being out of the limelight, but what about the other times she has failed keep in touch with her fan base? Unfortunately, it is too late for Faith.

You have out there girls that are younger and do tours (Keyshia Cole comes to mind), willing to keep their names in everyone's mouths. I am just concerned that by the time Faith does decide to come back out, she will have to start all over again regaining her fanbase. Which after 30 is hard to do. Damn, just in 2005 she started doing tours and singing live for pete's sake!!!

Faith is strictly a studio artist, no kind of stage presence, as I have heard her live, and although the sista can blow, she lacks that something special that makes folks pay to see you perform. I actually yawned, and she was off key.

Rumor has it she is due to release another CD in 2008 and has alot of strong producers on it. Let's hope this time she learns to properly promote the CD.

Beyonce

Is is just me, or is Beyonce getting worn out??? She has not given us one ounce of a break. Back to back records, even now has a spanish LP out for crossover appeal. Trying to cover all of the markets.

I am not mad at B one bit for getting that money, but damn, can she at least take a two year break and allow us to miss her? B is very talented and one of the few artists (besides Michael Jackson) that can sing and dance- total package. I just wish she would go away for a while.

Her tour is not fairing too well. When she was in Philly (I live in Delaware), there were soo many tickets on sale!!! But they were a bit too pricey for me. $200 for a seat? Nah, I will pass.

Been away!!!!

I have not been posting anything on my blog. Just got sad because no one was reading it. There are soo many other blogs out there for folks to read, I guess my mines just got lost.

I vow to write daily in my blog if not for anyone else's benefit, but at least for mines!!!!

Going back to work

Yuck!! I have been out of work for the last week with friggin pneumonia and tomorrow I will be returning. I need to start playing the damn lottery to see if I hit. Would be to do nothing and get paid for it.


Nothing I hate most then working with sick motherfuckers. That is how I got sick. Coughing and sneezing all over the damn place!! I will have to bring with me some Lysol and some Clorox wipes and get to work on my cube. I should buy one of those surgical masks. If you are sick, STAY AT HOME.

I have just been reading the many gossip blogs there is and I am finding that they tend to over expose certain folks. Every gossip blog has the following celebrities:

1. Angelina Jolie
2. Britney Spears
3. Paris Hilton
4. Lindsay Lohan
5. Jessica Simpson

There is really nothing new to report about these five at all. Everytime they make a move or they something stupid, the blogs are blowing them up. What a waste of time. List what celebs you are tired of reading about the most. Who drives you up the damn wall.

First Discussion

I have to tell ya, I have been reading many blogs. But none talk about sex. Is that forbidden?

To start off this particular post, I wanted to know if your partner satisfies you. I have been married for 8 years, together with my husband for 10. I like the sex more now than when we first met. It may have been because of the birth of our daughter, who is now five. I hear that babies "open things up" more and makes sex more enjoyable. Does anyone else agree? Let me know..........
